It’s been a hot day and, sure enough, the CHP is receiving reports of a fire burning near Pfeiffer Beach. Firefighters and air support are reported to be on the way ….

Surcats says one structure is threatened (an “outbuilding”), but that the smoke is dying down and the fire may be contained at about 3 acres.
Let’s see, wasn’t it just 12 days ago that pouring rain caused debris flows in Pfeiffer Creek? Things sure do move from one extreme to another quickly around here!
