This out of the way camp and the trail that serves it aren’t even mentioned in some Ventana guidebooks. It’s shaded and pleasant and Rattlesnake Creek is a reliable source of water. It’s popular with some locals from Cachagua, but unless they’re visiting, chances are you’ll have it all to yourself.
To get there climb up the Rattlesnake Trail from Danish Creek or slide down it from Little Pines.
